Armadillo Self Storage Grimsby joined the Armadillo familyin 2019 and was previously known as Space People. We are conveniently located a short distance from Grimsby town centre just off the A180 and along the river from the beautiful Cleethorpes Beach and the mighty Blundell Park. Each member of our team will make finding the right storage solution as easy and comfortable for you as possible and we make a cracking cup of tea.

Absolutely. We have trolleys and pump trucks free for you to use, stored in our loading bay.
Our reception opening hours are:
Monday - Friday 8:30am and 5:30pm
Saturday 9am and 5:30pm
Sunday 10am and 4pm
During these hours you can come and go to your storage room as many times as you need. If you need access beyond these hours come and have a chat with us and we'll see what we can arrange. We may be able to organise extended hours access for an additional fee. However this is subject to store discretion.

Yes, we do have a customer toilet on site. It’s clearly signposted and on the ground floor.
Yes absolutely we can. With prior notice we can arrange to accept deliveries on your behalf. This is a paid for service. Please come and speak to us to discuss the details.
You can bring your own padlock but it needs to be of a sturdy quality. The locks we sell perfectly fit our doors and are yours to keep and reuse afterwards. They can be purchased on the day or via our online box shop. If in any doubt, please come and have a chat with us in reception.
Everything you need for moving day or self storage: sturdy boxes, bubble wrap, packing tape, dust sheets, mattress bags and more. Whatever needs to be moved, stored or protected, you'll find it all in our Box Shop.
